Injury update as QPR signing Eduardo Vargas given stitches after under-21 injury

Eduardo Vargas was involved as QPR's under-21 side beat Millwall's.

After making a late debut at Old Trafford, loan signing Eduardo Vargas got some more action under his belt for QPR's under-21 side on Monday evening.

The loan signing from Napoli wasted little time getting on the scoresheet, netting after only 69 seconds.

His goal proved vital in the 2-1 victory, but the match was not without further incident as a head injury sustained required medical attention.

QPR's official website reported that his early substitution was due to a clash of heads which required four stitches.

After the game QPR under-21 manager Steve Gallen gave an update regarding his availability for the weekend.

QPR have a home game against Stoke City at the weekend, as they look to bounce back from the loss to Manchester United.
