Here is the Leeds United team to take on AFC Bournemouth this evening.
Leeds United: Silvestri, Berardi, Bellusci, Pearce, Warnock, Cook, Austin, Bianchi, Doukara, Sharp, Antenucci
Subs: S Taylor, Byram, Wootton, Cooper, Tonge, Sloth, Adryan
Leeds United carry a little bit of momentum into this evening’s game against AFC Bournemouth after a 1-1 draw away at Birmingham City last weekend.
Alex Mowatt popped up with the equaliser to earn the side a point as they look to progress up the table and towards the play-off places.
The problem for Leeds has been at both ends of the pitch because the attack has struggled to score (four goals for) and the defence has been relatively leaky (nine goals conceded).
Bournemouth actually have a similar record to Leeds having drawn the game which Leeds lost, otherwise the records in terms of wins, draws and defeats would be identical.
The home side are one of the only sides to reach double figures in the championship already in terms of goals scored, which means the Leeds defence has to be better and try to keep a clean sheet.
A win for Leeds would move Neil Redfearn’s men onto ten points and closer, if not in, to the top half of the table.
