We all knew this would happen, right? Destiny launched on 9th September last week, with 50% of its sales on the Xbox consoles, and without any surprise it's now at number one in the charts.
Destiny's sales beat those of Watch Dogs', which was released back in May, meaning it's this year's biggest new launch IP, and not only that, it's also the UK's biggest new launch IP in history.
The charts last week didn't really move about much, with people no doubt waiting for the release of Destiny, however this week it's quite a different story. Dropping down the rankings we see Metro Redux, Forza Motorsport 5, Madden NFL 15, Diablo 3, and Ryse.
Titanfall still isn't budging at all, keeping itself placed at number 2. Watch Dogs and Call of Duty: Ghosts rise up one place each, and NHL 15 is a new entry in at 4.
Other big name games are due to be released in the coming weeks like Forza Horizon 2, Shadow of Mordor, and FIFA 15 - but can they take the number one spot from Destiny?
