Diego Costa could be in hot water with manager Jose Mourinho today after an incident in the win against Swansea City.
The Spanish international banged in three goals to take his Premier League tally to seven goals in four matches, but he was also involved in a scuffle that saw him aggressively push Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The former Spurs man was attempting to prevent Costa from getting the jump on the Swans at a set piece, which caused Costa to push him out of the way and to the floor.
It was an incident, which displayed the other side to Costa and the side which opposition sides will more than likely look to exploit throughout the season.
Costa has taken to the Premier League easily, dismissing the notion of any settling in period and the incident could give sides ideas over ways to try and wind the forward up to counter his obvious quality in front of goal.
While Mourinho may be worried about that side of Costa, if he keeps scoring goals then he’s doing his direct job in Chelsea’s attack.
