As many might have expected, Bungie’s shiney new online FPS goes straight in at the top spot
Following the news that Destiny enjoyed the most successful video game launch in history, the game goes straight in at the top, displacing Naughty Dog’s remastered version of The Last of Us for PS4 into second place.
Holding position at number 3 is Ubisoft’s hacking-themed open world adventure, Watch Dogs with Call of Duty: Ghosts (now with a whopping 45 weeks in the top flight) enjoying a small resurgence, climbing one place to number 4.
Straight in at number 5 this week is EA Sports’ NHL 15, with the rest of the movement in the top ten taking a downward turn.
The Redux remaster of 4A’s Metro games falls four places to number 6 with previous number one debut Diablo III falling three slots to number 7. Positions 8, 9 and 10 are held respectively by Madden NFL, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Wolfenstein: The New Order all losing two places from their positions last week.
