This week's new Xbox game releases

Disney Infinity 2.0 Box 1

Microsoft is having a lax week in terms of new game releases.

Following last week's launch of Destiny it appears this week is going to be a quieter affair. Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (Disney Infinity 2.0) is released this week, along with Naruto Shippuden in the US (following its release in the UK last week), and Flockers.

Disney Infinity is Disney's answer to Activision's Skylanders franchise. They both use collectible figurines of characters which can be purchased separately and transported into the game world via a platform that uses near field communication (NFC) tech. The Marvel Super Heroes addition to the game will allow popular Marvel characters such as Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk to be transported into the game.

Flockers is also heading to Xbox One on Friday - the game comes from the creators of the Worms franchise, Team17, and will task players with aiding a flock of sheep through some very precarious situations.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution was released in the UK last week, and the US will receive the game on Tuesday this week.

This week’s Xbox releases are as follows:

Xbox One

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (Disney Infinity 2.0) - 19th September UK

Flockers - 19th September Europe

Xbox 360
