Marco Silvestri has wasted no time winning the supporters over at Leeds United, following his summer move to Elland Road.
Marco Silvestri has wasted no time settling in at Leeds United, it would appear.
The Italian stopper may not have known much about the club before joining, but it has not taken him too long learn.
He was pictured doing the 'Leeds salute' to the Whites' supporters following the club's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City at the weekend and it is an action which has already drawn a positive reaction from the fans.
Silvestri's performance on the pitch since joining have bee good, too, and showings like this will only further endear him to the club's sizeable fan-base.
The 23-year-old has been described as the best goalkeeper outside the Premier League by Leeds owner Massimo Cellino and his displays so far haven't disproved the Italian owner's statement.
Silvestri's next chance to impress will come against Bournemouth tomorrow night as the Yorkshire club look to extend their unbeaten run to three games and continue to move up the table.
