The Colombian international made his debut in the victory over Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, but despite United winning 4-0 the on-loan forward did not get off the mark.
However, he hopes that changes soon, as he revealed in quotes published by the Independent.
“It is an extraordinary stadium, a legendary stadium and I am happy to get the win,” the 28-year-old said. “I will enjoy this moment.
“I almost scored. The goalkeeper was good. I hope to score the next game.”
That next game is against Leicester City, and the Foxes will have watched this new-look United side with a very different feeling to those who saw them struggle for large parts of last season.
In other news, the Express has published information from Forbes which claims Falcao will make £21.8million this year with just £1.8million coming from endorsements.
If true, that means the United forward could be on as much as £380,000-a-week, although that is nothing more than speculation.
It would however mean Falcao is by far the highest-earning player currently at Old Trafford.
