Spain expert believes Manchester United are "preparing an offer" for Real Madrid superstar, according to the latest transfer news.
What once began as a market pipe-dream for excitable Manchester United fans has now developed into a transfer likelihood as La Liga expert Guilem Balague once again confirms Old Trafford interest in securing the return of club great Cristiano Ronaldo, who is reportedly becoming increasingly disillusioned with life at Real Madrid.
He implied on Sky Sports earlier today, Monday, that Manchester United will effectively bid for the Portuguese hotshot in either the mid-season transfer window, or summer, 2015 as the club "are preparing an offer or have an offer prepared."
Apparently, United "have been preparing the offer for months."
Balague continued: "I do believe he is thinking of going back, but there will undoubtedly be more on that later!"
Balague's comments come just hours after former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon explained to talkSPORT that Ronaldo is "fed up" with Florentino Perez at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Calderon, the perpetual sales of players with talent-levels he respects has begun to irk him to the point that he wants to follow them out of the transfer exit.
It began with Arjen Robben, continued with Gonzalo Higuain, escalated with Mesut Ozil and the "last straw" was the combined departures of Xabi Alonso and Angel di Maria earlier this summer.
“When I signed him in 2008, I remember he said he was grateful to Manchester United. He had a marvellous time there, he likes everything. It is a really great club," Calderon concluded.
