With the football season resumed after the early September international break, 17 time capped Wales international Jack Collison still finds himself without a club.
The 25-year-old has 74 Premier League appearances to his name, yet after being released by West Ham in the summer, he has not been taken on by anybody.
Collison was recently on trial with Ipswich Town along with Darren Ambrose with manager Mick McCarthy admitting he was considering a deal.
The writing was on the wall however last week when Ipswich announced they had signed Ambrose, who was also a free agent, and there was no mention of Collison.
It appears both club and player have moved on, with it now confirmed the midfielder is training with Birmingham City.

Birmingham currently sit 20th in the Championship with only one win from six games, and would be wise to consider bringing Collison into their ranks.
Collison was training with QPR earlier this summer, and even featured in pre-season for them. He will hope with Birmingham it is third time lucky.
