Andre Schurrle has won the season's opening Goal of the Month award, voted for by BBC Match of the Day viewers.
The German international's goal against Burnley in Chelsea's opening match of the season won the vote, which was assisted via a sumptuous pass from debutant Cesc Fabregas.
Aiden McGeady's opening day goal for Everton against Leicester City finished in third with 15 per cent.
It is the only goal Schurrle, 23, has scored so far this season for Chelsea, although he did net for Germany against Argentina last week.
Schurrle had scored a stunning goal in Germany's 7-1 win over Brazil at the World Cup, and is slowly creating himself a reputation as a player with an eye for the spectacular.
With a Chelsea side currently sizzling and destroying all comers, there could be plenty more where Schurrle's goal came from in his locker, although he will have to go some to win a second monthly award in the same season.
