Queens Park Rangers supporters were understandably unhappy after their 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
There was a lot to complain about as far as QPR fans were concerned on Sunday.
A limp, lifeless performance saw Harry Redknapp's side lose 4-0 at Manchester United - and yet not a bead of sweat could be seen from any Rs player. The defence didn't defend, the attack didn't attack - and the midfield were caught somewhere in between.
United certainly looked an improved side against Redknapp's men - but it was QPR's awful performance that really determined the result. And supporters of the west London side took particular issue with one of Redknapp's second-half substitutions.
Indeed, 4-0 down, the 67-year-old brought on defensive midfielder Karl Henry. For what - to protect the four-goal deficit?
QPR fans would rather have seen Adel Taarabt, the controversial Moroccan who can at least beat his man, if not do much in the way of tracking back.
The Rs are now 16th in the Premier League table after just one win from their opening four games. Their goal difference, meanwhile, was hardly done any favours by today's loss. Next up for Redknapp's side are Stoke City at Loftus Road. Could Taarabt perhaps make an appearance there?
Either way, here are the best Taarabt-related tweets from supporters during today's defeat...
I don't understand why Harry didn't give Adel Taraabt a chance to get some match fitness instead of bringing on Karl Henry #QPR— Akshay (@TheAkshayVara) September 14, 2014
And we've got Adel Taraabt and Eduardo Vargas sitting on the bench.— Conner Morris (@ConnerSaurusRex) September 14, 2014
Give Taraabt a run out see if he can produce some of that Championship class— Parkin (@Parkin_7) September 14, 2014
Well all I'm gonna say is ADEL TAARABT can't do any worse than anyone that's started today! Get my hero on for my Sunday entertainment— Nicholas Reus Fearon (@Niks8Fearon) September 14, 2014
Why is Matt Phillips still playing? Bring Taarabt. #qpr— Yousef Marafi® (@Yousef_QPR) September 14, 2014
