Manchester United may have made a less than impressive start to the 2014-15 Premier League campaign, but club legend Gary Neville believes that they will still finish third in the table.
The Red Devils have yet to win a competitive match under new manager Louis Van Gaal and are currently 16th in the league standings with just two points from three matches.
United, though, will move higher in the table today with a win against Queens Park Rangers at Old Trafford, and Neville believes that they will end up third.
The former England international defender posted the following message to one of his Twitter followers on Sunday morning when asked about his opinion on the top four.
Chelsea and Manchester City are many football followers’ favourites to finish in the top two of the Premier League this season.
Given the Blues’ sensational start to the campaign and the depth of their squad, Jose Mourinho’s side will now become top choices for many to win the league.
But what about Liverpool? Not in the top four? Well, that’s what Neville believes. Whether that turns out to be the case... we will know in due time.
