Derby fans react on Twitter to Jordon Ibe's display vs Nottingham Forest - "He's a menace"

Derby snatched a 1-1 draw against East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest today, and Rams fans were impressed with the cameo from Jordon Ibe.

Derby lost to Queens Park Rangers in last season's Championship playoff final, and manager Steve McClaren will be looking to take his side one step further and return to the Premier League. The likes of Cyrus Christie, Ryan Shotton, Zak Whitbread, Alefe Santos, Ivan Calero, Omar Mascarell and Leon Best have all arrived at Pride Park, with McClaren being backed to take the Rams back to the top flight.

Another new signing made by the former England boss was Liverpool forward Jordon Ibe on loan for the duration of the season. The 18-year-old, who usually plays as a winger, joined the Reds from Wycombe in 2012 and is tipped to be a star of the future - hence why he's been sent to Derby for first-team experience.

Ibe came off the bench with 14 minutes to play against Nottingham Forest in the East Midlands derby, a game in which Derby snatched a late equaliser to take a point against their local rivals. Shortly after Britt Assombalonga opened the scoring for Forest, Derby needed to go for a goal and threw on Ibe in search of an equaliser - which arrived from Best with just eight minutes to play.

Ibe may not have grabbed the equaliser but his driving runs and blistering pace caused the Forest defence problems - which impressed a number of Derby fans who took to Twitter in order to praise their young loan star. With more praise and performances, Ibe can go some way to justifying the high expectations on his shoulders at Anfield.
