CONFIRMED: Manchester United and QPR line-ups

Old Trafford

Here is how Manchester United and Queens Park Rangers will line up for their Premier League match this afternoon:

Manchester United starting XI: De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Rojo, Blackett, Herrera, Blind, Mata, Di Maria, Rooney, van Persie

Subs: Lindegaard, Shaw, Fletcher, Januzaj, Valencia, Pereira, Falcao

Queens Park Rangers starting XI: Green, Isla, Ferdinand, Caulker, Hill, Kranjcar, Sandro, Fer, Phillips, Hoilett, Austin

Subs: McCarthy, Traore, Onuoha, Henry, Vargas, Zamora, Taarabt

There is just one Premier League match taking place today, but what a game it could be, with Manchester United fans finally able to see many of their summer signings for the first time.

The international break came at the worst possible time for those keen to see what Radamel Falcao could do in a United shirt, while Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw have all had to wait a little longer for their first taste of competitive action for their new club.

Rojo and Blind start today, while Shaw and Falcao could see action from the bench.

Queens Park Rangers are either in the best or the worst situation depending on which side of the fence you sit. Harry Redknapp’s side could be on a hiding to nothing if United’s new signings click instantly, but if the visitors score first, the doubts could filter around Old Trafford once again.

QPR have new players of their own, with both Sandro and Nico Kranjcar included in their starting line-up following their deadline day moves.
