Following the release of the FIFA 2015 trial game for those that can’t wait to get their mittens on the real deal, an astonishing image of former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez biting new Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic has gone viral.
The Uruguayan international caused controversy during this summer’s World Cup as he was handed a four-month football-related ban for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
The incident sparked a number of consequent situations, including one which led the Reds to cash in on him after receiving a £75 million offer from La Liga giants Barcelona.
Since moving to Spain, Suarez has since had a clause in his ban upheld – allowing him to take part in active training sessions and non-competitive matches.
In spite of this, football fans around the globe will still have to wait until October 25 to see last season’s Premier League top scorer in action alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar and what a game to come back to – El Clasico rivals Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
For those that can’t wait that long to see the South American trio wreak havoc, the official FIFA release date is within two weeks whilst a trial download has been made available now.
It is within this trial download where Suarez has become yet again the centre of another biting scandal – this time with teammate Ivan Rakitic as the victim.
Whether by accident or a glitch in the game, one can only hope that such an image is not to be repeated in real life by one of the world’s most celebrated footballers in recent years.
