Newcastle United suffered another heavy defeat to Southampton on Saturday - and it seems their supporters have had enough.
After a torrid finish to last season, the Magpies signed nine new players this summer and a mood of optimism swept Tyneside. Four games into the new campaign, however, the only optimism among Newcastle fans now comes from the hope that Alan Pardew will be sacked.
Indeed, no lessons were learnt after last season's 4-0 drubbing at St Mary's and, after one defeat and two draws in their opening three games, Newcastle find themselves with just two points in four games after another heavy loss to the Saints.
Enough is enough, as far as fans are concerned, with the hashtag #PardewOut trending on Twitter throughout the game.
The Newcastle faithful were not happy from the moment Southampton took an early lead and the 53-year-old did nothing to stop supporters' ire when he brought Cheick Tiote - a defensive midfielder - on at half-time instead of another striker.
Mike Ashley's next step will be an interesting one with Pardew so unpopular at St James' Park. Indeed, one fan even wants him out before the airing of Match of the Day later tonight. Unfortunately for the Newcastle boss, here are the best tweets from today's game. They all have a common theme...
