Manchester City scored a goal in the final seven minutes of normal-time to earn a 2-2 draw with Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues had gone ahead in the 28th minute when Sergio Aguero finished well from Jesus Navas's cross. The Gunners equalised in the 63rd minute through the impressive Jack Wilshere, who would later set up Alexis Sanchez for a glorious volley that put the hosts in the lead.
However, Martin Demichelis rose unchallenged to head in from a corner and ensure Manuel Pellegrini's men returned to Manchester with a share of the spoils.
Arsenal debutant Danny Welbeck had a chance to score but saw his effort cannon off the post, while there was bad news for Arsene Wenger when Mathieu Debuchy was taken off with what appeared to be a serious injury.
He was replaced by the Gunners' Player of the Month for August, Calum Chambers, but the England international could not prevent City from taking a point from the game.
