John Guidetti has been speaking about making his Celtic debut against Aberdeen earlier today.
Celtic moved up the Scottish Premier League table to fifth today with a game in hand on their rivals. The good news for Ronny Delia however is this. If they win that game in hand, they will go top on goal difference.
They did so with a tough and hard fought victory over Aberdeen at Celtic Park - in a game where the Norwegian handed a couple of players their first appearances for Celtic, strikers Stefan Scepovic and John Guidetti.
The latter arrived after a protracted loan deal was finally agreed with Manchester City for his services at the end of the transfer window. It was not as on-off again as the deal that saw his fellow debutant Scepovic arrive at the club this summer but still, for a while there it was hairy.
But they now have a potent goal-scorer, who showed what he is capable of with a terrific free-kick for his nation's under-21 side last week.
And the player himself is very happy to be putting his injury nightmares behind him at a club the size of Celtic. The club of course have great links with Swedish players from the past - in particular Henrik Larsson - so for any Swedish striker to get the chance to play for the club is a privilege.
And Guidetti obviously believes so, as he posted this message today accompanying an Instagram photo:
Great win and so happy to have made my debut :) the reception I got was truly amazing and moved me allot ! Now we keep going #Celtic— John Guidetti (@superguidetti) September 13, 2014

Celtic fans will now hope he can begin finding the net as regular as he did on a loan spell at Feyenoord a couple of seasons ago.
