The Arsenal players have been reacting to a 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
Arsenal drew 2-2 with the Premier League champions Manchester City today, and the lads have been on social media discussing the days events since the final whistle.
Goals from Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez saw Arsenal take a 2-1 lead at one point, but a goal from Martin Demichelis levelled the scoring - and that is how it ended.
Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey were both of the belief that they should have held on to their after battling to get back into the game and expressed that via Twitter.
The pair were also quick to wish Mathieu Debuchy a speedy recovery. The French international hurt his ankle and had to leave the game on a stretcher:
Great game played at a mad pace but very frustrating not to see it out and win. Hope @MatDebuchy is ok, wish you better mate.— Aaron Ramsey (@aaronramsey) September 13, 2014
Yaya Sanogo was happy with the result from a 'tough game' while he also sent congratulations to Danny Welbeck, who almost scored on what was his debut for the club:
But there is little doubting what the main topic of discussion was after the game. Samuel L. Jackson. The Pulp Fiction star was in attendance with Swedish True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgaard at The Emirates this afternoon and it is fair to say some of the boys got rather excited about the news...
Good game, unfortunately only 1 point... Next game on Tuesday! But it was nice to meet Samual Jackson after the game! pic.twitter.com/0modSEC6ES— Lukas-Podolski.com (@Podolski10) September 13, 2014
Good game today. Gutted we didn't get the 3 points though. Nice to meet one of my acting idols as well… http://t.co/J57P1uyhq4— Alex Ox-Chamberlain (@Alex_OxChambo) September 13, 2014
Arsenal's next game is against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday in their opening Champions League tie. Play like they did against City, and the post game Tweets might be more celebratory.
