The Brazilian admits one factor was key in his Deadline-Day move.
And Redknapp, Sandro admits, was the key factor in his decision to join QPR.
Indeed, the 25-year-old has hailed his new (and old) coach as the reason behind his move to the Rs and says a deal might not have gone through without the 67-year-old's influence.
“It was difficult for me to leave Tottenham and maybe if Harry wasn’t here, I wouldn’t have come to QPR," the Brazilian is quoted as saying by the London Evening Standard.
"That is not meant to disrespect the club in any way but it just reflects how influential his presence was in my decision.
“He is a good manager and the club has a lot of ambition. I like to fight and coming here is a good challenge for me because we have to work hard to stay up.”
Sandro could be primed to make his QPR debut on Sunday, when Redknapp's side travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
Alongside the 25-year-old, Eduardo Vargas could also be set for his QPR bow, while fellow South Americans Radamel Falcao and Marcos Rojo could make their first appearances for the home side.
