Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has been pictured with the Golden Glove trophy which has received this week, after being announced as the winner of the award last season.
The Golden Glove is presented to the goalkeeper with the most clean-sheets and Cech's 16 clean-sheets meant he set the record last season alongside Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny.
It is a testament to Cech's ability as a goalkeeper, but he has been replaced in goal this season by Thibaut Courtois.
The young Belgian stopper has returned from a three year spell on loan at Atletico Madrid and usurped Cech in the Chelsea goal.
It leaves the experienced stopper's future at Stamford Bridge hanging in the balance, as he is unlikely to be happy with his role as back-up.
Courtois signed a new five-year-deal at the London side yesterday, showing their plans to utilise him for the foreseeable future and if Cech wants to continue to keep clean-sheets then he may have to move on.
If he does, he will be fondly remembered as one of the greatest custodians to ever represent the Blues and this trophy is just another to add to the numerous accolades he has earned in Chelsea colours over the years.
