Naughty Dog was founded in 1984 by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin. Starting out as Jam Software the company took their canine-orientated moniker in 1989. Well known for quality AAAs on Sony platforms, the company got their first big break with the 1996 smash-hit Crash Bandicoot. Since then we’ve been treated to such greats as Jak and Dexter, the Uncharted series and most recently the phenomenal apocalyptic survival adventure The Last of Us - a game that has gone on to shine on both PS3 and PS4.
There’s a sense that as we’ve grown up so has Naughty Dog and we look ahead with anticipation to their next gaming offerings. Uncharted 4 is due to come along next year and there’s been talk of a sequel to The Last of Us.
