Players getting excited ahead of matches is nothing exceptional, but it seems that Leeds United’s summer signing Souleymane Doukara is pumped up just to train with his new teammates.
The West Yorkshire club have been training today ahead of their clash against Birmingham City at St Andrew’s in the Championship on Saturday, and the French attacker was delighted to have been part of the session.
The 22-year-old, who joined Leeds from Catania in the summer, posted the following message on social networking site Twitter ahead of today's session, thereby perhaps hinting how much he and his teammates are staying positive amid the current situation at the club.
Leeds will head into the encounter against Birmingham on the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers at Elland Road just before two-week international break.
It was also Neil Redfearn’s first game in charge of the Whites as caretaker-manager following the dismissal of Dave Hockaday.
The future of the 49-year-old Englishman is not clear at the moment, as Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has yet to appoint a permanent manager and has given no concrete sign on who that will be.
Nevertheless, the Leeds players are training as normal and seem to be focused on their immediate task: pick up all three points against Birmingham on Saturday.
