Rio Ferdinand has been warned against Radamel Falcao by Manchester United legend Gary Neville.
Ferdinand will be at the heart of the Queens Park Rangers defence between the two sides’ Premier league clash at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The match will mark the debut of United’s star summer signing Falcao, who joined the Red Devils on a season-long loan deal from AS Monaco on transfer deadline day.
Falcao is one of the best finishers in the world and has an enviable track record of scoring goals. A penalty-box predator, the 28-year-old is expected to be a massive hit for Louis van Gaal’s side.
Neville, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has sent the following message to his former United teammate ahead of the match.
Of course, the message above is meant as a friendly banter between two friends who played together for United and England for years.
But still the message will be ominous for Ferdinand and QPR. United have one of the best attacking line-ups in Europe (click here to read more), with Angel di Maria, Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata all expected to start against the London outfit.
However, Ferdinand has played against some of the best players in the world in his career and will be ready for Falcao on Sunday.
