Kevin Campbell has had his say on Welbeck move to Arsenal ahead of his debut this weekend.

He hasn't even played his first game for Arsenal yet but Kevin Campbell believes that Danny Welbeck already looks like a different player since his transfer from Manchester United.

After his £16 million deadline day move Welbeck went on to make a significant impact in England's Euro qualifier against Switzerland on Monday.

The 23-year-old scored both of the goals as England struggled to a 2-0 win, giving Arsenal supporters a glimpse of could be to come.

Campbell, who came through the youth ranks with the Gunners, is tipping the England international to be a big star with the club.

He told talkSPORT: "I definitely do [see it as a bargain]."

"Ever since he has made that move he has looked a different player. Coming on against Norway for England he looked really sharp and the Switzerland game proved he knows where the net is."

"We all know when you come through the ranks at a club now you are never really taken as seriously as a signing. Now is the time for Welbeck to come into his own because now he is a big star at Arsenal. And I think he is going to flourish."

Arsenal face Manchester City tomorrow lunchtime and with Olivier Giroud facing a lengthy lay-off, Welbeck is expected to make the first start in his new number 23 jersey.
