Wrestling fans are today mourning the loss of yet another star. Sean O'Haire, real name Sean Haire, who wrestled for WCW, WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling was found hanging in his bedroom at his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina by his Father on Tuesday 09th September.
Many people will remember Sean from his tag team partnership with Mark Jindrak and Chuck Palumbo under the name Natural Born Thrillers. They won the WCW Tag Team title three times before WCW was purchased by WWE who took over their contracts. From there they had feuds with the APA (Farook & Bradshaw), and the Brothers Of Destruction (Undertaker & Kane), the latter of whom they lost their titles to. Shortly after this the tag team split up and O'Haire went on to feature occaisonally on WWE Heat before disappearing to dark matches for the remainder of 2002.
In 2003 he made his return with a new gimmick, becoming a "Devil's advocate" type character, urging other superstars to lie, cheat and steal their way to the top, something another tragically lost superstar, Eddie Gurrero, thrived on. He continued to wrestle in WWE until a motorcycle accident kept him out of the ring, eventually he was released.
After this he went on to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling untill his retirement in 2006.
Since his retirement from wrestling he took part in Kickboxing and MMA but failed to reach the heights he had found in WCW.
According to O'Haire's father he had been suffering from depression for some time before his suicide.
We at Here Is The City wish his family and friends our condolences in this difficult time.
