Watch Dogs is to finally arrive on Wii U in November. The dates for release given by Ubisoft are 18th November for North America and 21st November for the UK.
Gamers on Wii U waiting to get stuck into Aiden Pearce’s open world hacking operations have had to endure continual delays as Watch Dogs, itself originally slated to launch alongside PS4 and Xbox One was set back - finally launching in May for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Setting it apart however the Wii U port will boast some console-specific features over existing versions. The city map will be displayed on the GamePad’s screen and you’ll also be able to use the GamePad for remote Off-TV play.
Sadly Ubisoft have no further plans to release mature titles on Wii U stating recently that “Nintendo customers don’t buy Assassin’s Creed”
This said Wii U will be getting a game that despite the overhype managed to shift 8 million copies as of July.
