Arsenal are now just two days away from hosting defending Premier League champions Manchester City.
But what better way to prepare for the clash than by welcoming their £16 million Deadline-Day signing to proceedings?
That's exactly what Arsene Wenger and co have done, bringing Danny Welbeck out onto the training pitch for the first time since the 23-year-old moved to north London from Manchester United. Yesterday, David Ospina and Joel Campbell featured heavily in Arsenal training - and today it was Welbeck's turn.
Understandably, the England striker was the centre of attention as photographers snapped shots of him left, right and centre. Welbeck looks to be settling right into his new environment, as can be seen in light-hearted pictures of him with boss Wenger and England team-mates Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calum Chambers.
Interestingly, the 23-year-old ran straight to Oxlade-Chamberlain and Chambers to celebrate when he scored for England at Switzerland on Tuesday - and it looks as though Welbeck is forming a real bond with his new team-mates.
Last season, the north London side drew 1-1 with Man City at the Emirates Stadium and lost 6-3 at the Etihad. Arsenal fans will no doubt hope their new centre-forward can hit the ground running and inspire a better result this time around.
