Colombian international Fredy Guarin appears to have made a remarkable U-turn and insists that he is settled at Inter.
The midfield talent's future has been up in the air since he was on the brink of signing for Juventus back in January.
A deal looked certain and Guarin made it clear he was looking forward to arriving in Turin before everything fell through at the last minute and he was left to return to the Inter fold.
Inter had bargained on selling Guarin this summer with Tottenham said to be interested and Manchester United a possibility.
But in the end Spanish side Valencia came closest to agreeing a transfer on deadline day, but they weren't willing to commit to a permanent purchase.
Now, Guarin seems to have accepted that he is staying at San Siro and is putting a brave face on things.
"I have everything I need in front of me: trust, friendship, I like every aspect of the club, the coaches, my teammates, everything.
"Now it is up to me to show that Fredy is here.
"I didn't want to go to Juventus and I don't now. I'm happy with what I have. Enough."
The Inter fans appear to have forgiven Guarin in the main for his flirtation with Juventus and all will be forgotten if he can inspire the Nerazzurri to glory this season.
