Xbox One update for October improves Snap, TV, and more

Xbox One Controller

Microsoft have given a sneaky look at the October update for Xbox One consoles.

The Xbox One update for September has already rolled out, but a couple of days ago Microsoft announced the changes and features coming in the October update for the console.

The Snap and friend functions will be expanded upon and improved, as well as the TV and video functions. The Snap improvements include better functionality, which quickly opens the Snap App whilst in-game, instead of taking you out to the main menu, meaning you can snap and un-snap apps much more quickly. The Media Player App will now allow you to play media over your home network too.

The update has already started to roll out to members involved in the preview program, and will continue to update over the next week.

The video below gives a preview of some of the features that are on their way, and for more info you can head on over to Major Nelson's blog.
