West Ham latest: Temporary groundshare with Tottenham suggested

All the latest West Ham news...

West Ham's next home the Olympic Stadium has been touted as a potential groundshare option for Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs received a setback in their plan to build their own ground, when it was announced today a legal challenge would delay them moving into their planned stadium until at least the 2018/19 season.

With the schedule already set to leave White Hart Lane, it is likely Spurs will be looking for a temporary agreement to share a stadium for the 2017/18 season.

While Stadium: MK, Wembley, and even The Emirates, have been suggested, Yahoo report West Ham's future Olympic Stadium could be a possibility.

Spurs had attempted to beat West Ham to the stadium in the first place, so asking the Hammers for help to share the stadium would be a fascinating development, although the relations between the two sets of rival fans would make it an uncomfortable option to say the least.

In other news, West Ham midfielder Kevin Nolan has been discussing his injured shoulder, which sustained a fracture when Carlton Cole landed on him in training a fortnight ago.

Nolan believes he is one month away from a return, missing potential games against Manchester United and Liverpool within that time.

The midfielder went onto hail the summer arrival of Alex Song, suggesting his experience for Arsenal and Barcelona will be vital for the Hammers in taking a step forward this season.
