The latest Queens Park Rangers news, views and rumours.

Alejandro Faurlin

QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has undergone surgery on his Anterior Cruciate Ligament tear.

The Argentine midfielder suffered incredibly bad luck recently, tearing his ACL for the the third time in as many seasons.

However, Faurlin has now undergone surgery to reconstruct the ligament.

Doctor Peter Florida confirmed that the 28-year-old will be on crutches for 6-8 weeks, after which he will start his recovery.

Financial Fair Play

QPR are yet to comment on the threat of relegation to the Conference based on Financial Fair Play.

The west London club could be relegated to the Conference if they fall out of the Premier League this term and fail to pay a £40 million fine imposed by the Football League.

The fine has been served due to the Rs' high spending during their time in the Championship.

Tony Fernandes

During his interview with the London Evening Standard yesterday, Tony Fernandes spoke on a wide range of issues.

One of which was Adel Taarabt. Here's what he had to say on the Moroccan: "Adel is a QPR enigma. On his day, he is the best, someone who can turn a game around. He has shown in the Championship what an amazing player he is.

"He has shown flashes of brilliance. Glenn Hoddle is very focused on Adel. He is a Glenn Hoddle player. He is flash, which Glenn was.

"Adel has got to get his head right. He saw my trainer about nutrition and he gave me a very good report on Adel. We are going to get a special nutritionist for him because he is like me. He eats all the wrong things at the wrong time."
