Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 10th September 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 10th September 2013…
The Costa not getting their man
Diego Costa admitted a year ago today he almost joined Liverpool in last summer's transfer window. The Atletico Madrid striker admitted that Liverpool had met his then £22 million release clause, but he decided to stay with the Spanish side:
"I was close to leaving, Liverpool are a great team. But after fighting so hard and overcoming difficulties to get my place at Atletico, how could I leave?"
He helped Los Colchoneros win La Liga and has now joined Liverpool's title rivals Chelsea for £32 million.
A year ago today and Arsenal were reeling from a striker being ruled out for until the New Year, and were therefore set to sign a replacement.
Youngster Yaya Sanogo returned from international duty with France under-20's with a back injury ruling him out until January.
"Marica is a really great striker who has already got experience in western European football and so it's natural that big clubs are eyeing his career. He's close to joining Arsenal , but we have to wait for the next week."
In the end Marica did not sign for Arsenal, but Spanish side Getafe instead. He is now at Turkish outfit Konyaspor.
United enquire for Maguire
A year ago today and Manchester United were looking into the signature of Sheffield United centre-back Harry Maguire as a potential long-term replacement for both Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.
The young defender was reportedly available for £4 million and David Moyes was believed to be a big fan of the Blades talent.
However that deal never took off the ground. This summer both Ferdinand and Vidic did leave United but Maguire was also on the move, joining Hull City for a £2.5 million fee.
He is set to be loaned out by the club this month.
