Update on Jamie Dimon's health

'A little hoarse and raspy'.

Bloomberg News reports that Jamie Dimon, the JPMorgan CEO who was treated for throat cancer, is doing well, said Chief Financial Officer Marianne Lake.

'He’s feeling fine, if not a little hoarse and raspy', Lake said at a financial services conference in New York. 'Because he’s not travelling and not doing necessarily everything he was previously doing, he’s actually shockingly present and managing the place and involved in everything and has a great sense of humour'.

CNBC / Reuters reports that Lake said that Dimon would have liked to have spoken at the conference. Dimon has curtailed his travel and public appearances while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments for throat cancer.

Lake said that because Dimon is not traveling, he seems to have more time to talk to bank executives and be involved with the business.
