England’s under-18 side completed a second win over the Netherlands in as many matches thanks largely to the heroics of Everton youngster Callum Connolly.
Connolly bagged a brace in a 3-1 win, which helped England to back up a 4-1 victory against the Dutch as they continue to build some impressive momentum.
Connolly is one of the most exciting prospects in the current Everton youth system. Here are five facts about him as well as the video of his goals below.
He’s 16-years-old and has already played for England at two different levels of international football.
He’s a left-back but can also play further forward on the left hand side.
He has a strike rate of one goal for every game he plays in England’s under-18 side.
His contract with Everton is due to expire at the end of this season.
He only became a first year scholar at Everton at the end of June this year.
