Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor delayed for PS3 and Xbox 360

Warner Bros set back Shadow of Mordor on 7th gen consoles, 8th gen releases still on track

PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers itching to get going with Monolith’s upcoming Tolkien-inspired action RPG will have a little longer to wait as Warner Bros announce delays today.

The publisher said in a press release that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor "will take more time in development," although there’s little more than this to go on at the moment.

Shadow of Mordor will now launch on 18th November in North america and 21st November in Europe for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The 7th gen versions were initially announced to be coming on the same day as the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions on 30th September in North America and 3rd October in Europe.

It has also been revealed that the PC and Steam versions of Shadow of Mordor will get a worldwide launch on 30th September.
