What do QPR fans need to know about potential addition Gaby Mudingayi?

QPR have been linked with a surprise dip into the free agent market to sign Gaby Mudingayi.

The reports stemmed from Italy and were picked up on by Talksport on Monday.

Here are five facts for fans to know about the potential recruit...

1) Mudingayi is 32-years-old and has 17 international caps for Belgium, who he represents although being born in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

2) He was released by Inter Milan this summer, and has made a combined 204 Serie A appearances for them, Bologna, Torino and Lazio.

3) In those matches he has scored only three times, averaging a remarkable 5,200 minutes per goal.

4) He once claimed he turned down a move to AC Milan, due to his dislike of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, describing their on-pitch rivalry as 'terrible'.

5) Mudingayi has Champions League experience, twice featuring against Real Madrid while with Lazio, but landed up on the losing times on both occasions.
