An impressive long-range strike from Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov gave Serbia a 1-1 draw with France on Sunday evening.
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba had put his side ahead, but Kolarov blasted in from 25 yards after being teed up following a free kick.
The ball flew into the bottom corner, past the despairing dive of Hugo Lloris, and ensured the home side took a share of the spoils.
A number of Premier League players were on display, including Chelsea trio Nemanja Matic, Loic Remy and Branislav Ivanovic and Kolarov’s City teammates Matija Nastasic and Bacary Sagna.
The City full-back is known for his long-range shooting ability but Sunday’s effort will go down as one of his very best.
Manuel Pellegrini may well be hoping Kolarov brings that form into domestic matters, with the Blues facing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
