Everton's Steven Pienaar says that Mikel Arteta is the most skilful player he has ever played with.
Arteta, who is now playing football for Arsenal, was Pienaar's teammate for four years between 2007 and 2011 and his natural talent clearly had an impact on the 32-year-old.
Pienaar was partaking in a question and answer session on Everton's official Twitter account and he says that he feels that the ease with Arteta used to play football with made him the most skilful player he has ever played with.
It comes a surprise considering the talent which has passed through Everton's ranks in recent years.
Last year Gerard Deulofeu dazzled with his quick feet at Goodison Park, whilst Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas are two of the most naturally gifted players in the Premier League.
However, Pienaar clearly feels that Arteta trumps them all and it shows just how much quality is needed to make it at a title chasing club.
The Spaniard is widely thought to be need upgrading at the Emirates, where he has often fallen short of the requisite quality in recent times.
However, Pienaar obviously feels that his his former teammate is still good enough to have an impact in North-London.
The South African was also on hand to answer some other supporters' questions during the interview on the social media site.
He revealed that Leighton Baines and Sylvain Distin were the two best trainers at the club, while he also hailed the Toffees' summer signing, Samuel Eto'o.
