The Netherlands national team, including Manchester United striker Robin van Persie and former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, have travelled to the Czech Republic for their opening Euro 2016 qualifier.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persis and the rest of his Netherlands teammates, including former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, have flown to Prague to take on the Czech Republic in their opening Euro 2016 Group A qualifier on Tuesday.

The Oranje have been training in Austria for the last few days in order to prepare themselves for the clash against Pavel Vrba’s side at the Generali Arena (click here to read more).

It will not be easy for the Netherlands to pick up a win in the Czech Republic, but the European giants will be confident of doing so.

The Dutch reached the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil in the summer and are brimming with optimism.

The Netherlands have a number of young players who showed in Brazil what they are capable of, although new coach Guus Hiddink will not be getting complacent.

The former Chelsea care-taker manager kicked off his second spell in charge of the Netherlands with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Italy in a friendly international last week.
