The controversial Italian striker posed in his Liverpool training kit in front of his signature phrase.
Liverpool star Mario Balotelli is happy to embrace what was perhaps the most iconic moment of his ill-fated Manchester City tenure.
The Italian striker hit the headlines back in October 2011 when he opened the scoring against Manchester United and in celebration unveiled a t-shirt with the words 'Why Always Me?' printed on it.
Balotelli left City in January 2013 but is now back in the Premier League with Liverpool after signing for £16 million from AC Milan.
And the 24-year-old posted a picture on Instagram in his new club's training kit, with his signature phrase written behind him in Liverpool red and the caption: "I just want to know, why?????????? Lol".
Balotelli is a supreme talent, but his antics both on and off the pitch have undermined his time at every club in his career.
Liverpool fans will be hoping that the £16m man will be at his best for the Reds this season without the controversy that dogged him at City.
