CONFIRMED: Portugal line-up against Albania – Nani and Arsenal target start!

Here is how Portugal will line up against Albania tonight, featuring Manchester United winger Nani (currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon) and reported Arsenal summer target William Carvalho.

Portugal will be looking to put their 2014 World Cup disappointment behind them when they take on Albania at Estadio Municipal in Aveiro this evening.

The Euro 2004 finalists’ campaign in Brazil in the summer was one to forget, as they failed to get past the group stage. Paulo Bento’s side will now be hoping to start afresh and confirm their place in Euro 2016 by winning Group I.

The Seleccao have been drawn against Denmark, Serbia, Armenia and tonight’s Albania in the group, and should be considered favourites to win it.

However, Portugal need to kick off their qualifying campaign with a win tonight, or else they could suffer in the latter stages.

The hosts will be without star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been left out of the squad due to injury problems in the summer.

Nevertheless, Portugal will still be strong for their European rivals, and here is how they will line up against Albania tonight:

Portugal XI: Rui Patricio; Joao Pereira, Pepe, Ricardo Costa, Fabio Coentrao; William, Andre Gomes, Joao Moutinho; Nani, Vieirinha, Eder
