CONFIRMED: France v Serbia line-ups: Markovic, Remy and Cabella all start

France Football

Who lines up for France as they take on Serbia in an international friendly (sort of!)

Serbia XI: Stojkovic, Ivanovic, Nastasic, Mitrovic, Kolarov, Matic, Gudelj, Tadic, Markovic, Tadic, Djordjevic

France XI: Lloris, Varane, Mathieu, Sagna, Digne, Cabaye, Sissoko, Pogba, Schneiderlin, Cabella, Remy

The European Championship's are in France in 2016 and despite that being almost two years away the qualification begins in earnest now. The first games are already under way but this evening will also see the hosts for next summer in action.

Now France are of course already qualified for the tournament as hosts but they still participate in the qualifying rounds. Why? Ask Michel Platini, it is his mad idea.

Of course their results will not count toward the final Group, essentially they are more like international friendlies in the final Group of five.

Denmark are taking on Armenia while Portugal face Albania this evening, leaving France to take on Serbia.

France have had a good week on the pitch. They defeated Spain 1-0 thanks to a Loic Remy goal last Wednesday and will be hoping to grab a similar result tonight.

And with plenty of Premier League interest, there is reason for fans across the Channel to keep abreast of the action.
