This summer Liverpool finally relented and allowed their star striker and top-goalscorer for last season Luis Suarez leave the club. They reportedly sold the striker for a fee in the region of £75 million to Barcelona - cashing in on the player at the right moment in time.
Because for the third time in his career, and the second time whilst a Liverpool player, Suarez bit an opponent once again.
He had already got in trouble for biting PSV Eindhoven winger Otman Bakkal as an Ajax player, sinking his teeth into him back in 2010.
He then bit Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic at Anfield back in 2013.
This summer his gnashers went into the arm of Italian star Giorgio Chiellini and Liverpool decided, with a good chunk of compensation for their loss, it was now the best time to let him go.
He was of course not the only player to arrive at Barcelona this summer. They also snapped up Ivan Rakitic from Sevilla.
The Croatian, who himself was a reported Liverpool target this summer before he chose an €18 million switch to the Nou Camp, has been speaking about Suarez whilst on international duty this week - and assures everyone he will be on his best behaviour when he returns from his suspension next month:
"Suarez is very calm, polite and quiet. He's a great man and he said that any biting moments he has had in the past will never happen again."
Barca fans will hope Rakitic is right.
