X-Men: Apocalypse to commence shooting in April

The next X-Men film is to start shooting in April 2015, following a massive hit for the franchise with Days Of Future Past - by far the best performing X-Men movie title so far.

Bryan Singer will be returning to guide his mutant players in a film said to be "more of a First Class sequel." that will explore the end-credit teaser from the last X-Men movie.

It’s reported set construction work will begin for the film in December with shooting to start in April 2015. A large proportion of the production will take place at the Mel's Cite du Cinema complex in Montreal, Canada, where some 30 sets for the previous film were housed

So far it’s been reported that James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence,,Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters will be reprising their roles, in a story that takes the mutants back to the 1980s. Youthful versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm are also to make an appearance.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be released in May 2016.
