Manchester United have completed the signing of Daley Blind this week, bringing in the Dutch international utility player from Ajax for a fee in the region of £13.8 million.
The 24-year-old looks likely to play in the heart of United's midfield, but can also play across the back-line, and played mostly at left wing-back under Louis van Gaal at the World Cup this summer.
But while Blind is obviously ecstatic to be joining United, he has also found it hard to say goodbye to his beloved Ajax.
He was with the club from the age of eight and his father Danny Blind was also an Ajax legend and former head coach - so his links with the club are deeply rooted.
And the Ajax fans are also still in love with their darling player, who was the Dutch Footballer of the Year in the Eredivisie last term. They have grown used to seeing their top prospects leave for foreign soil, so are not surprised to see Blind move on - in fact, the majority of Ajax fans are happy for him.
And the love they still have for him is evident on online auction site ebay right now.
The club have put his last ever Ajax shirt up for sale on the site, with the proceeds going to charity. And already, at the time of writing this article, the highest bid for the item is at €2,000 - and climbing.
