Diego Costa's initial spell in England could hardly have gone better. Whilst many strikers struggle to adapt to the pace of the Premier League, Costa has started in blistering form for Chelsea after signing from Atletico Madrid.
The £32 million man has notched four goals in his first three games at the London club and looks set to be a star in England's top flight this year.
However, Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho may have given him a warning of things to come for the Chelsea hit-man.
In Spain's friendly with France last night, Sakho launched into an aerial contest against Costa, showing little attempt to play the ball.
The Reds' centre-back has a reputation for being robust, but he clearly frustrated the barrel-chested, Spain hit-man yesterday evening - causing a mini square-up and a few frank words to be exchanged.
Costa would have been left even more frustrated at full-time too, as Les Bleus picked up a 1-0 victory over La Roja, with the former Atletico man's new club teammate, Loic Remy, bagging the winner.
Liverpool take on Chelsea on the 8th of November for the first time this season and it could be interesting to see if there are any long-term impacts from this clash when Costa and Sakho do battle again.
