PHOTO: Newcastle's young talent poses with Liverpool's star striker

Rolando Aarons couldn't miss the opportunity to take a picture with Daniel Sturridge.

"It's only right I get a picture with @dstudge," he wrote. And why not?

The 18-year-old has been called up for the England Under-20 side and is expected to make his debut against Romania tonight.

Hardly short of ambition, though, Aarons has targeted a full England call-up after a promising start to the season at Newcastle United.

Aarons scored his first competitive goal for the Magpies after coming on against Crystal Palace and big things are being predicted of the young winger.

Interestingly, however, the Newcastle man has actually been linked with a move to Liverpool, though those links appear tenuous at best for now.

Could the 18-year-old be a team-mate of Sturridge's in the future, then?

The Reds and England striker has also been in fine form so far this term, though the best could yet be to come from himself, Raheem Sterling and Mario Balotelli at Anfield.

Sturridge has pulled up with an injury in England training but scans are yet to reveal whether it is a serious problem or not.

As for Aarons, he will no doubt hope a promising debut with the Under-20s will stand him in good stead for an exciting international career.

The winger is of dual nationality but chose to represent the Three Lions over Jamaica.
