The Frenchman says he is 'very happy' at Newcastle United but wants to play in Europe's elite competition.
Moussa Sissoko has hinted at what might be in store for him in the future.
Sissoko is, however, very happy at Newcastle right now - in his own words.
“I would like to play in the Champions League but I feel very happy at Newcastle," Sissoko told reporters.
"There was nothing concrete (offered to me) this summer.”
Should the 25-year-old want to fulfill his desire of Champions League football, though, a move away from St James' Park will be the likely outcome.
The Frenchman was linked with a switch to Liverpool and Monaco earlier this summer.

As Opta stats show, Sissoko has won more dribbles than any other Newcastle player so far this season, while he has also completed the fourth-highest tally of accurate passes within the Magpies' side.
He usually plays on the right-hand side for Newcastle but was deployed in central midfield for France - a role he says he enjoyed.
“I feel I played pretty well in centre midfield,” he added. “The more games you play there, the better you feel.”
